Bias Moments Against The Blueberries (Mixer Moderator)

If you're coming from other streaming platforms other than Mixer, you may not know the term "Blueberries." Short version, the newbies of the streaming platform who can show up as the trolls of the community. I know we've all have our fair share of having our eyes and ban hammers ready for someone without a profile picture and being "blue" a whole lot more than some who are the "purples." Let's try to do some simple things before judging them so quickly.

  1. Welcome Them

I have met some awesome blueberries who are trying to learn the streaming community in general. Yes, we can have fun with our sarcasm cause we answer the same questions over and over again but there are people who genuinely have no idea about this world, so, try to be patient with them.

2. Don't be so quick to ban unnecessarily.

Trust me, I get it. The feeling of striking the ban on someone becomes glorious, especially when you're having a bad day. Did you know that can also hurt the streamer you're working under? This can allow their stream to become stagnate and slow if no one is even allowed to talk or even have the ones who lurk not even be brave enough to say hello because they are watching our actions. Also, we don't know if they have mental disability which they may not comprehend as well. All in all. Thinks of all options. Time outs are usually best firsthand UNLESS certain circumstances.

With that said, try not to be so bias with the blueberries, there are people who are not new to the channel still can be a total jerk even being around the platform over a year.

Disclaimer: These are based off the streamers I'm under so it may be different from your perspective.
